Support Adopt an Angel in Saving Homeless Animals
In 2024, Adopt an Angel rescued and found loving homes for more than 1,100 homeless animals across New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, and Duplin counties. Since our founding in 2004, we have saved over 15,000 animals and provided more than 130,000 spay/neuter surgeries through our Fix A Friend Spay Neuter Clinic.
Each week, our team visits local shelters to rescue animals who are out of time or have special needs that shelters cannot address. Your generosity directly funds:
- Critical Care
- Heartworm treatments
- Lifesaving surgeries
- Medications
- Pull fees at local shelters
- Vaccinations
- And, so much more…
On average, our veterinary expenses exceed $8,000 per month due to the sheer volume of animals we save. Every contribution matters—even a $5 donation makes a meaningful difference.

In-Kind Donations
We gratefully accept supplies such as:
- Purina Cat & Kitten Food
- Pâté-style canned food
- Non-scoopable kitty litter
- Paper towels & bleach spray cleaner
- Dog crates, cat carriers, collars, leashes, toys, towels, fleece blankets
- Office supplies (blue, white, or pink copy paper, envelopes)
Items can be dropped off with our volunteers during weekend adoption fairs at Petco.
